It sounds like a small obstacle, and it is. But most of the time you won't be bothered to get up just to scroll for ten minutes. That is exactly where the screen time goes down.
An app blocker can be switched off in ten seconds. This one can't.
The app
The app comes with your Wake, and only works with iPhone (iOS).
You choose which apps to lock. They only open again at your Wake, so ten minutes of scrolling becomes a conscious choice instead of something that just happens.
The alarm works the same way: no snooze, no shortcuts.

How Wake works
Select what to lock
You choose which apps to lock and when. You set the alarm in the same place, in the same app.
Move Wake to another room
Magnet on the back and double-sided tape in the box, so it can be placed almost anywhere.
Hold the phone against it
It's the only way out. Your apps will only open again, and the alarm will only stop, when you hold your phone against it.

The app comes with your Wake.
Choose the apps that take your time. They will only reopen at your Wake.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why not just use the phone's own functions?
Because they can be turned off with one tap. Screen Time asks nicely, and the alarm can be snoozed without you opening your eyes. Wake removes the choice: your Wake is in another room, and you have to go there.
Can't I just delete the app?
Not while a block is running or the alarm is ringing. Then the app cannot be deleted, and the only way out is to hold your phone against your Wake.
When neither a block nor an alarm is running, you can delete it exactly as you wish.
Can I use the same Wake for multiple phones?
Yes. Your Wake is not tied to one phone, so you can share it at home.
Can I have multiple Wakes for one phone?
Yes. You can have as many as you want and place them where it makes sense to you. The phone can be unlocked with all of them.
What if I lose it?
You always have three free skips, and you can buy more in the app if you need them.

Does it work with my phone?
Wake only works with iPhone (iOS) – not Android. The app is included and free of charge.
