How it works
In the Wake app you can easily build a list of the apps you want to shut down. It is also where you choose when they shut down. Once they are closed, you get no interruptions, no notifications and no temptation ;) Your apps can only be unlocked again once your phone has touched your Wake.
Put your Wake well away from the bed and the sofa, and we promise your phone won't disturb you when you need peace and quiet.
Another neat feature in the Wake app is the alarm. Set your alarm the way you always do, but with the app you can only turn it off once your phone has touched your Wake.
The app
When you buy your Wake, the Wake app comes with it automatically. The app currently runs on iPhone only, and it requires iOS 18 or later.
In the app you can:
- Build a list of all the apps you want to make passive
- Set an alarm you can only turn off once the phone has touched your Wake (requires iOS 26)
- Choose different sounds for your alarm
- Get an overview of how much you use your phone

Wake doesn't work with Android yet

How Wake works
Select what to lock
You choose which apps to lock and when. You set the alarm in the same place, in the same app.
Move Wake to another room
Magnet on the back and double-sided tape in the box, so it can be placed almost anywhere.
Hold your phone against your Wake
It is the only way out. Your apps only open again, and the alarm only stops, once you hold your phone against your Wake.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why not just use the phone's own features?
Because they can be switched off with one tap. Screen Time asks politely, and the alarm can be snoozed without opening your eyes. Wake takes the choice away: your Wake is in another room, and you have to go there.
Can't I just delete the app?
Not while a block is running or the alarm is ringing. The app cannot be deleted then, and the only way out is to hold your phone against your Wake.
When there is no block and no alarm running, you can delete it exactly as you like.
Can I use the same Wake with several phones?
Yes. Your Wake is not tied to one phone, so you can share it at home.
Can I have several Wakes for one phone?
Yes. Have as many as you like, and put them wherever makes sense to you. Your phone can be unlocked at all of them.
What if I lose it?
You always have three free skips, and you can buy more in the app if you need them.

Does it work with my phone?
Wake currently runs on iPhone only, not Android, and the app requires iOS 18 or later. The alarm requires iOS 26 or later. The app comes with your Wake.
