Frequently asked questions
Why not just use the phone's own features?
Because they can be turned off with one tap. Screen Time asks nicely, and the alarm can be snoozed without you opening your eyes. Wake removes the choice: your Wake is in another room, and you have to go there.
Can't I just delete the app?
Not while a block is running or the alarm is ringing. Then the app cannot be deleted, and the only way out is to hold your phone against your Wake.
When neither a block nor an alarm is running, you can delete it exactly as you wish.
Can I use the same Wake for multiple phones?
Yes. Your Wake is not tied to one phone, so you can share it at home.
Can I have multiple Wakes for one phone?
Yes. You can have as many as you like and place them where it makes sense for you. The phone can be unlocked with all of them.
What if I lose it?
You always have three free emergency skips, and you can buy more in the app if you need them.

Does it work with my phone?
Wake works with iPhone (iOS). The app is free and included.
Is there a subscription?
No. You pay once for Wake, and the app is free.
Does it need charging?
No. Wake is built without a battery, so there is nothing to charge or replace, and it will last for many years.
